Arrowhead Engineered Products Acquires Ratioparts Of Germany
Arrowhead Engineered Products, a leading supplier of non-discretionary, mission-critical aftermarket replacement parts for a wide variety of motorized vehicles, has acquired ratioparts, a distributor of aftermarket parts for outdoor power equipment. The acquisition of ratioparts, which is based in Euskirchen, Germany, expands the global footprint of Arrowhead, which will allow for serving more customers throughout the European market. Arrowhead is based in Blaine, Minnesota.
“This is a strategic decision that allows the company to join forces with AEP to better meet our customers’ needs across Europe and solidify our position as a global leader in aftermarket hard parts. In addition, this will allow the expansion of our product range in agricultural, outdoor power equipment and powersports categories.” says Hermann Gerardts, CEO of ratioparts.
Arrowhead CEO Jim Wisnoski commented “The combination of Arrowhead with the ratioparts organization and its subsidiaries (CYPACC, Jofrab and Nord Delar) creates a unique and powerful platform in support of our mission to always be our customers’ first choice for critical replacement parts. We are excited for the combination of our two organizations, and the shared focus of our combined employees to continue providing exceptional service to our worldwide customers.”
The priority for both companies is ensuring that customers experience a seamless transition, according to Gerardts. Therefore, the previous owner family will continue to be represented in the management. “The ratioparts company and the Gerardts family gave this a lot of thought and consideration and feel that the owners of Arrowhead are a close match with ratioparts ownership in that we share numerous cultural values and have a high regard for customer relationships.”
